Design Draftsman
Conceptual design and layout of mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics and standards for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems used in substations and power plants. Design, draft and review contracted documents which are then prepared for distribution to the client. Also, draft communications circuit wiring schematics and block and level diagrams.

Utah Power & Light/PacifiCorp - Controls Engineering Department – 24 years
1978–2002 -- Held the positions of Senior Draftsman and Senior Design Draftsman in PacifiCorp’s Controls Engineering Department. Responsibilities included design and layout
of mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics and standards for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisitions (SCADA) Systems used in substations and power plants. Documented and coordinated all drafting projects for field technicians and current office files. Also, scheduled
and prioritized all drafting assignments so that the SCADA documentation was completed on time.

1977 -- Senior Draftsman, Relay Engineering Department
1975–1977 -- Draftsman, Cadastral Engineering Department
The above positions included structural steel design and drafting for substations, drafting relay drawings and standards pertaining to individual substations throughout Utah Power & Light Divisions and updating “eggshells” and drafting right-of-way surveys, including writing right-of-way easements.

Computer Skills
Computer literate in AutoCAD (ACAD 2006), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Corel Word Perfect.
