Support principal engineers in the complete system design,
test and implementation of various telecommunications
systems. This work includes the preparation of expenditure
requisitions, equipment specifications, bid evaluations, local purchase
orders, and installation drawings for the various telecommunication
systems. These systems include analog microwave radio, analog
multiplex, digital multiplex, mobile radio base station control,
microwave alarm and fiber optic systems. Assisted in the
design and implementation of a microwave alarm system for monitoring
and control. Plan, design and installation support for
dispatch center at Western Area Power Administration (WAPA).

equipment installation and removal, and drawing changes.

Responsible for frame, space and power, and equipment
planning and engineering. Two years experience with CADET
(Computer Aided Design and Engineering for
Telecommunications). Installed, accepted and maintained SARTS
(Switched Access Remote Test System). Developed detailed
specifications for PBX systems. Responsible for scheduling,
installation, coordination, and acceptance of these systems.
Functioned as a Central Office technician and a frame
attendant. Engineered electronic customer telephone systems.
