EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

Project Engineer - Communications, Controls, & Electrical (CC&E) Engineers, Jan. 2008-Present. Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Engineering design of communications, controls and electrical systems, including microwave radio, fiber optics, EMS, SCADA, industrial networks, terrestrial radio, etc.
• Other duties include administration of corporate network, installations, website administration, and maintenance of network, hardware, and software.

Station Engineer, KWCR 88.1 Weber FM, Ogden, Utah - Weber State University, 2007.
• Chief student engineer for university radio station.
• Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairs on RF broadcasting / radio production equipment and computer systems.
• Administration of servers and workstations, website design, and the scheduling / performing of system upgrades.

Network Support Specialist, ApiaTech Information Technologies, Oct. ’06 – Dec. 2007.
• On-site and remote support of client computers, servers, and network equipment.
• System administration of various computer networking systems, typically Microsoft Windows environments incorporating Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
• Configuration of Cisco networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Clients include various government agencies and large corporations throughout Utah and U.S.

MISCELLANEOUS:

• Cisco CCNA Certified 8/2006, CompTIA A+ Certified. Current member of IEEE.
• Member of several national and international honors societies, including the National Honors Society, Phi Kappa Phi, Tau Alpha Pi and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
• Courses at Weber State University and Salt Lake Community College in computer engineering, computer science, telecommunications, electronics, networking, and programming in C/C++, assembly language, Java, Matlab, Visual Basic, Delphi, PHP, ASP, etc.


EDUCATION:

BS in Computer & Electronics Engineering Technology (CET) at Weber State University (WSU) in Ogden, Utah, with AS in Computer Science, December 2007.
• Course work in electronic & microcontroller system design, embedded controllers, communications, real-time operating systems, networking, systems administration, technical writing, etc.
• 3.9 GPA, cumulative. Member of multiple honor societies. Former VP of engineering honor society of Tau Alpha Pi. CET Outstanding Student for ‘06-07.
• Performed research to relocate university’s radio station antenna to Mt. Ogden as part of senior project. Also presented research on the technicalities of HD radio.

• Completed AS degrees in Computer Science and General Studies.

Salt Lake Community College 2000-2003, 2006-present.
• Course work in Computer Science and Telecommunications.
