Responsible for technical operation aspects of new EMS/SCADA replacement project for PacifiCorp dispatch operations. Helped write specification, evaluated bids, and organized factory acceptance testing. Provided project management for site acceptance testing and cutover of the new EMS/SCADA.

Practical understanding of Microsoft Project and used it for project control.

Operated SCC and Special Projects (CADOPS)
Mount Ogden Area Operations Director – Ogden, UT
Directed District and Plant Operations in Northern Utah and Southern Idaho.
Technical Operations Director – Yakima, WA
Directed Plant Operations in Northern Oregon, Washington, Northern Idaho and Montana.
Directed Region Dispatch for the five state areas.

Project manager for the move and upgrade of Region Dispatch, from the Union Gap facility to the new Keys Road facility. The project included a new building, new EMS/SCADA, new telephone system, and moving all communications lines including leased, microwave, and mobile radio.

Power Superintendent – Rock Springs, WY
Managed the Substation Construction and Maintenance for the southern half of Wyoming.

Project manager for the South West Wyoming Transmission Project ($48 Million). This project consisted of installation of approximately 400 miles of 230 KV transmission line, one new 230 KV substation and one new 230 KV switching station. Lotus notes was used as the project management tool.

Area Control Superintendent – Medford, OR
Managed the Relay and Communications technicians for Southern Oregon, maintaining both the substation and Hydro units.
